How it all began.............
Several years ago, when I was up to my eyeballs practicing law and managing my law firm, my wife and I took a few days off for a trip to Santa Fe.  We spent a day looking at art on Canyon Road.  As always, I was inspired by the scuptures that I saw in the galleries and in the gardens, and they gave me ideas and inspiration so that at some point in the future, when I had more time, and with what little artistic ability I may have, I might be able to create something pleasing to look at....or at least fun to create or make.

I got some ideas and imagined using certain materials.  I would call it recycling re-used objects, mixing shapes, object transformation, what-have-you.

Art in its broadest sense is transforming something ordinary into something special... a few ordinary words become a beautiful poem.  I thought I would give it a try.  I have done it for my own pleasure and enjoyment.  My goal was to have fun with existing materials that could end up being pleasing to look at, at least to me.

That was in late 2002 and I began doing this in mid-2007.
