Steve Hanlan Artist Statement
I am an artist drawing inspiration from the infinite possibilities of technology and the intersection of art and science. My work explores the relationship between the digital and the natural world, celebrating beauty and complexity. I create my work using a combination of digital tools, combining a hand done feel with a digital touch.
I was born and raised in Spokane and have always felt a deep connection to the river that runs through the heart of the city. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to attend Lewis and Clark high school and was inspired on a daily basis by the school and the history it embodies.
